About Collateral Value Point

Built for investors who want clarity, not noise

Collateral Value Point was created to give private traders and investors the same calibre of portfolio and risk analysis that institutional desks rely on — delivered through read-only data access and transparent model logic.

From a simple frustration to a dedicated platform

Collateral Value Point began with a straightforward observation: individual investors were expected to make portfolio and collateral decisions with far less analytical support than professional trading desks. We set out to close that gap with a focused, data-driven tool rather than another generic dashboard.

Why we built this

Existing tools either oversimplified risk into a single score or buried users in raw data with no interpretation. We wanted something in between — structured analysis that respects the user's own judgement.

How we approach it

Collateral Value Point connects to portfolio data on a read-only basis, applies documented valuation and risk logic, and presents the output in a format designed for review, not blind reliance.

Give investors better information, not more instructions

We are not in the business of telling anyone what to buy or sell. Our purpose is to structure and surface the data that informs those decisions, so users can act with a clearer view of their own exposure.

01

Transparency by default

Every output is traceable to the inputs and logic that produced it. We avoid black-box scoring that can't be explained on request.

02

Read-only, always

Collateral Value Point never initiates trades or moves funds. Access to portfolio data is strictly for analysis and reporting purposes.

03

Built for review, not autopilot

Outputs are designed to support a decision-making process, not replace one. We build for informed users, not passive ones.

These principles guide product decisions at every stage, from how data is ingested to how results are labelled and presented in the interface.

What we hold ourselves to

As a UK-focused platform working with financial data, we treat restraint and clarity as design requirements, not afterthoughts.

  • Present analysis as information, not advice — clearly and consistently.
  • Keep data access minimal and read-only wherever technically possible.
  • Document how models behave so users can question and verify outputs.
  • Favor plain, specific language over vague reassurance or hype.

Data Access

Read-only connections to portfolio sources, scoped to what's needed for analysis.

Analysis Layer

Documented valuation and risk logic applied consistently across accounts.

User Review

Structured output presented for the user's own interpretation and decision-making.

A small, focused group behind the product

Collateral Value Point is built by a lean team spanning data engineering, risk modelling, and product design. We stay deliberately small so decisions about the platform's logic remain considered and traceable.

01

Data & Engineering

Responsible for secure, read-only integrations and the pipelines that keep portfolio data current and accurate.

02

Risk & Analysis

Defines and documents the valuation and risk logic that underpins every report generated by the platform.

03

Product & Design

Shapes how analysis is presented, focused on clarity, restraint, and making outputs easy to question.

A note on scope. Collateral Value Point is a data analysis and reporting tool. We do not manage funds, execute trades, or provide personal financial advice. Our team's work is focused entirely on the accuracy and clarity of the information we surface — decisions remain with the user.
